'Gay Boys and Their Mothers' A Performance Workshop presented by Rick Miller The Pilgrim House 

This workshop celebrates how the emotional relationship between gay boys and their mothers is pivotal in their growth and internal well-being. For many, music is a venue in which the awareness of this relationship is remembered. Stories and videos will be shared and the focus on emotional and psychological connection. Since not everybody has had positive experiences, there will also be attention given to how those who had painful experiences. How they coped and the role that music served during this time

An open mic format, the show includes waitrons delivering cocktails while the singers chat and perform.
